Attention Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors!
Students may stop by the high school office to pick up their class schedules for the upcoming school year on Thursday, August 13th, from 1-3 PM, and Friday, August 14th, from 1-2 PM.

Reminder: Sports Physicals are today at RiverStone Health in Bridger. If you can't make it today, the clinic in Joliet is open on Friday, August 7th, from 8-4. Return the forms to Mrs. Gallagher in the elementary office. See you soon!

7th Grade Tdap Immunization Reminder!
7th graders who are not up to date on their required Tdap vaccination should contact their health provider.
As a reminder, Montana state law requires all students entering 7th grade to receive the Tdap vaccine before attending public school. Sharing this now will help schedule appointments before the start of the school year and ensure students meet the state's immunization requirements.
Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our students healthy and prepared for a successful school year. If you have any questions, please contact Carbon County Public Health.

Help Shape the Future of Career Readiness in Montana
Do you know a young person who wants to make a difference in their community?
Education Design Lab and Reach Higher Montana are recruiting 10 Montana youth, ages 13–20, to participate in a paid fall youth internship.
Interns will work together to help design Montana's Youth Career Readiness Plan—a statewide effort to better connect young people with the resources, skills, and support they need to achieve their career and future goals. The group's recommendations will be shared with Montana state leaders in December 2026. See link to apply: https://eddesignlab-internship.squarespace.com/
Internship Details:
💵 Earn: $1,000 for approximately 25 hours of participation
📅 Program Dates: August 26 – December 9, 2026
✅ No experience required!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Today marks the final day for our summer program. Thank you to our program staff for their time and dedication to creating a safe and engaging space for our students over the last several weeks. I also want to thank our coaches for providing opportunities throughout the summer for our student-athletes to continue learning and growing together. Official fall sports practices will begin on Friday, August 14th.
We want to provide a quick update regarding the upcoming school year. While the school board did approve an academic calendar back in March, we have not yet published it on the school website, because we are still in negotiations with the teachers' union. The outcome of those negotiations could result in slight adjustments to the calendar. However, we do plan on the first day of school being Thursday, August 20. We'll communicate an updated calendar as soon as possible.
Please continue to check the district website and school app for the latest information, including the school calendar, athletic schedules, school board meetings, and other important district updates.
